at the doctor hair store

i have a nasty splinter jammed deep under my fingernail. the kids are trying to make me feel better. Q is the doctor. he got a magnifying glass and is trying to tweeze it out. caroline is a princess nurse hair stylist. she is trying to make me feel better by giving me elsa hair. 

if only it worked...

Q's cubby pack toured and slept on the battleship new jersey last night. after seeing the bunks, i'm glad daddy went and not me :)

great moments with mr. lincoln

caroline is "reading" a book about lincoln out loud: "abraham lincoln likes to eat cookies. he said, "hi, my name is abraham lincoln and i am on the penny and the five dollar bill. a girl asked abraham lincoln to marry her, but he said, "sorry, i can't marry you. i'm the president."

spring training

we went to our first MLB game tonight. it was scout night so Q and daddy got to parade around the field before the game.

cats and dogs

last night, our perfectly harmless cat snuck into caroline's room while she was sleeping and scared the bejeezus out of her. to get her to go back to sleep, i had to line up all her stuffed dogs at the end of her bed to scare away cats.
