actual halloween

we were lucky that our hurricane sandy damage wasn't too bad so we were able to have halloween on its regularly scheduled night.  in keeping with tradition, the kids once again received a can of store-brand soda from one of the houses in our neighborhood.

futbol finale

soccer season was very short - just 7 weeks. but Q did improve over the course of the season. and he got a medal. he really likes getting medals.

bo peep wearing #2: dance class halloween style. not surprisingly there were a few princesses in attendance.

monster mash

we went to the monster mash at the please touch museum again this past october. the kids love it and it helps us get several uses out of our halloween costumes. and more changes to get a decent photo of the kids in their costumes. this year Q was a jedi / luke skywalker and pickle was little bo peep (she was insistent, starting in july, about her choice.) 

go climb a tree

Q has been obsessed with the idea of climbing trees.  he had a grand old time in this tree.  until he fell.  thankfully, i kinda/sorta caught him so he didn't get hurt or traumatized.

ginny's party

all the way back in october, we went to ginny's 3rd birthday party.  there was much fun.  and "aurora sleeping beauty", gin's favorite princess.
