roo on the loose

today was children's trick or treat day at my office, which mostly consists of people bringing in the under-3 set. many little ones running in costumes. very very cute. especially our own little roo, dressed as what else - a kangaroo! there were several really cute pumpkins, a few monkeys and bears, but only one roo.
he had a grand old time running in the halls, exploring cubicles, barging into conference rooms during meetings, playing with the random bocce ball set on our floor, etc. he is one tuckered out little marsupial this evening!
-
he especially enjoying playing in the Outback conference room.

Scary Hayride?

We went back to the farm this weekend because the weather was amazing for New England in October. We went on another hayride. It was billed as a not-so-scary hayride. The farm has night time haunted hayrides. During the day they have a few people jump out wearing scary masks during the ride to scare you. We did this last year and Q didn't care, granted he was like three months old. We were very curious how he would react this year. This was the person who jumped out in front of Quentin:
And this was his reaction:
We suspect that next year he may get scared. There was a two year old on the ride who wanted the ride to stop because she was so scared. Poor kid. So Q just doesn't know when to be scared or he's demented :)

Toddler + Spoon =

We have been trying to teach Q how to use a spoon. We gave him some pudding. As you can see, he's pretty much got it :) Also, note his new favorite thing to do, stick his finger in his nose.

question: how tall this fall?

answer: a lot taller than last year!

pumpkin farm!

yesterday we took the kiddies to the farm to see the goats, play with pumpkins, and go on a hayride. needless to say, we had some tired toddlers when we got back home!

a play room is twice as nice with a friend
