teacher teacher
caroline no longer wants to be a princess doctor scientist mommy when she grows up. now she wants to be a teacher.
today she was very distraught because she has no one to teach. because her dolls can't really learn. she wants to teach for real. and teaching me and daddy was not good enough for her.
maybe this was a subtle ploy for a baby sibling?

while walking home from school today, Q politely asked me, "mommy, when i'm in third grade, can i walk home by myself?"
i hesitated, so he quickly assured me, "i know how to be safe. i am a cub scout."
