dancing queen

caroline started dance class last week.  she is soooooo excited about it.  she loves the dance classrooms with all the mirrors.  they don't appear to do a whole lot of dancing yet.  but she likes the outfits.

first day of school

Q started kindergarten on september 10th. this post will be filled with a ridiculous number of obligatory "kid wearing backpack and holding lunchbox" photos.  sadly he doesn't get to ride a school bus so there aren't any obligatory "kid getting on yellow bus" photos.  sorry.  he's sad about that too.

our household is currently very obsessed with the lorax. the book. the movie. the soundtrack. also obsessed with trees. talking about trees. drawing trees. noticing tree stumps and getting mad because someone chopped down trees.

so while we were in western mass for the fair, we hit up the dr. seuss national memorial sculpture garden. because Q and dr. seuss were both born in springfield.  they're tight like that.

best use of $0 ever.  we will be returning.

yertle the turtle.  we were not impressed by this.  mostly because we don't have the yertle book.  and there isn't a yertle movie.

give pickle anything that resembles a stage and she will perform.  oh boy.
