Dear Quentin, Welcome to the world! You were born into a family with strong Wake Forest connections, and I wanted to be the first to welcome you as the newest member of the larger Wake Forest family! We hope that Mom and Dad will bring you to visit the Alumni Office soon so we can meet you. Until then, we wanted to send you something special to hang in your nursery: it's a Wake Forest pennant, and I hope it will be the first of many Wake Forest souvenirs. We got one of those too! And we are wondering if they go to couples in which only half are Wake alums. In anyone is out there reading this comment who knows the answer, please contact me.
How does Wake know about Q? Virginia Tech doesn't even know to invite Tim and I to reunions.
wake has the advantage of being a heckuva lot smaller than tech :) i added quentin to our alumni account when i updated our address and i think his birth announcement will be in the next alumni magazine. i was wondering if "mixed breeds" received the same letter or if it was just for "purebred" deacs ;) but i don't know any half wake couples with a kid!
