last saturday, quentin tried peas for the first time. he liked them a lot better than beans. i couldn't get the spoon in his mouth fast enough! he also continues to be enamoured with eating the spoon itself.

For several months we had to give Will his own spoon so he wouldn't take the one we were feeding him with!
Oh, the second part of that story: I didn't get a chance to get things for his Christmas stocking, so T. just put random stuff in there, including one of his spoons. When he saw his spoon come out of the stocking his eyes got wide, his hands did his excited "jazz hands" thing, and he sucked in a big breath of air. Best present EVER!
