less than 24 hours after returning from richmond, Q and i hopped on another flight, this time to philly to visit our friends. (got to fly while we still can!)

note to anyone flying with a child under 2, while jet blue does not require you to show proof of child's age, southwest definitely does. and if you somehow managed to not see that on the southwest website, the dude at the southwest counter will be an utter jerk to you and act as though you are trying to pass off a 16 year-old as under 2. i do have to give southwest credit though - they do say that they require proof of age (i just missed it somehow - prego brain probably.) just out of curiosity i checked out the infant travel policies of some of the other airlines to see who was more normal, jet blue or southwest. seems neither. the others all "recommend" that you bring proof of age, but don't go as far as to require it. now that would really piss me off if i didn't bring it and they wouldn't let me fly. either you need it or you don't! anyway, enough on the airlines...

Q did not sleep on the plane down to philly, but he was well behaved at least. there was another 19 month-old on the flight that was not as thrilled about the plane ride.

we had a great time relaxing with our friends. Q and Lilly had a fabulous time destroying their house, "sharing" the sit n' spin, and playing outside. the kids have been together several times since they were born, but this was really the first time they actually acknowledged each other's presence and played together.

the flight home was much easier since i had jeremy send me a variety of documents to prove that Q is indeed less than 2 and a very sleepy Q passed out on the plane before take-off and stayed down the entire flight!

i didn't take too many pictures because Q requires 100% of your attention at all times (he is damn quick and sneaky!) but here's what i've got, plus some my mom took!
