we noticed an ad in the paper last week for a free easter egg hunt for ages 1-10 being held at a local realtors' office. since it was taking place a mere two minutes from our house i clipped out the ad. even though it was raining today (and sleeting - seriously!) we decided to check it out. they had eggs "hidden" all over their backyard for the older kids and all over the inside of the office for the tiny kids.
we didn't think that Q would understand it, but as soon as we walked in he started pointing out all the eggs (of course calling them balls, one of his favorite toys.) then before the hunt officially began he started gathering the ones he could reach into a pile on the floor. fortunately, he was one of the youngest there so no one seemed to mind. he eventually discovered that he should put the eggs in his basket.

it was hard to get any good photos since he was moving so fast and there were so many people there!
