so big! not sure how big exactly (she goes to the pediatrician for her 2 month next week) but she is definitely growing! caroline is staying awake more during the days and putting together some pretty solid sleep sessions (10 pm-ish to 4 am-ish) which are nice. she is very curious about the world around her and makes the sweetest cooing noises. this kid does not like baby gear though - hates the swing, hates the bassinet, hates the crib. her car seat is the only thing she tolerates! she does like this gym mat thing too, but only for a few minutes at a time. (the scratches all over her face are the result of failed attempts to put her in the swing. she goes crazy and scratches herself. and like all babies, she won't let us near her fingernails to file them.)

If i could give up one thing as a mom it would be fingernail cutting. I've always hated it, kids hate it...even the big girls whine the whole time i do it. Why can't that be a daddy job???
I can't believe it's been 8 weeks!! I'm so proud miss caroline is sleeping well and before you know it...that 4am will go to 6am and that 10pm will start at 7-8pm! Sooooo close :-)
