solid gold

caroline tried her first official (i.e. not illicit... dad) solid food today. it seemed like time to start solids, given how intently she watches us when we eat or drink something. she was seriously trying to take sips of my diet coke today! so she had some rice cereal mixed in milk. - she didn't seem to love it, but she didn't resist when the spoon came at her. much of it ended up on her bib, but i think she enjoyed the act of being fed, even if she didn't quite dig the rice. -
