the camera is made by discovery kids. the other day, he brought the box to me and demanded, "trucks." i was confused for a bit until i realized that he wanted to watch his new favorite TV show - meteor and the monster truck friends - which airs on the discovery kids channel. kid recognized the logo on the box and connected it to the show.

we also got a fun new coffee maker for christmas. the other night, jeremy was enjoying a cup of caffeine goodness and quentin pointed to it and said, "juice like grandma"

cookie monster is his favorite character on sesame street. he often imitates cookie monster when he eats, shoving food into his mouth as fast as he can and screaming, "cookie! cookie! cookie!"

a couple of mornings ago, i heard Q calling for me from his room, ready to get up for the day. but when i went into his room he was no where to be found. until he called out for me again, and i found him stuck behind the recliner in the corner of his room. best i can tell, he went over the back of the chair head first to get behind there, but then couldn't get back out.

we may be closer to being able to potty train him. now in addition to telling us when he has pooped, he really likes to observe his diaper being changed, providing insightful commentary like. "ewwww" or "gross" or "stinky"
