eagle eye
caroline watched me bring the mail in the house today. i hadn't even started flipping through it and she shrieked, "gimme the pretty dolls pleeeeeeease!" in the middle of the stack was the american girl catalog and she recognized it in an instant. i am doomed once she realizes that the dolls can actually be purchased.

To be on the safe side you should probably never EVER let her come to Chicago.
So... Is she starting with Bitty Baby dolls? Have any yet or is she getting any for her birthday? Or does she want to go straight to the big dolls?
caroline brings in a book to share with her class almost every day. yesterday she brought the catalog in.
i didn't know what the bitty babies were until I looked through the catalog. she would love one. we might have to get her one for her birthday.
The bitty babies came out when I was 10ish. And I checked the site and they dont even have the original dolls!
Let me know if your getting one and we can get some accessories or something for it.
