memory

as we were loading caroline's stuff into her cubby at school today, she looked up and pointed to a lunchbox.  "that's annie's lunchbox!"

the problem is, annie doesn't go to school in the summer because her parents are teachers and are at home.  so i just reminded her that annie would be back in september.

but then i walked her over to the room where her class assembles in the morning, and lo and behold, annie is there.  her parents had to work today so that made arrangements for her to come to school.

how about that.
