field trip

i am at the eagles game tonight. i told the kids i was going this morning and they were both upset that they weren't. i explained it to then in a way i knew they would understand: mommy is going on a field trip with her work friends. i saw each of them after school before the game and they both separately asked me if i had fun on my field trip. so sweet.
