today was caroline's pre-k graduation.
phew. i didn't think she was gonna make it #sarcasm
what follows are terrible photos for several reasons:
- the lighting in this conference room is atrocious
- my camera is not all that great
- i am not all that great at photography
- many of the family and friends of the other grads were wicked obnoxious, pushing and elbowing to get to the front, clogging the aisles instead of staying in seats, using giant ipads as cameras, and just generally thinking that they and their child were the most important people there #endrant
the procession
singing the songs which i wanted to video but didn't bother since i don't need a video of someone else videoing this with an ipad #notbitter
diploma time.
i had to push people whose kids had already walked out of the way in order to get in and get these shots. #soannoying
unofficial portraits
she was melting down because the cake line was really long and she was worried there wouldn't be any left because i was wasting time taking pictures. it was a giant cake. it was not really an issue. but damn she was worried about it.
half smile. i'll take it.
