boy or girl?

we don't know. and we won't know until roo joins us in august.
to hold you over until then here's what the internet has to say about roo's gender: -
according to the chinese lunar calendar, roo will be a girl because babies conceived in december to mothers who are 28 at the time are female.
-
according to the gender predictor from childbirth.org, there is a 31% chance that roo is a boy and a 68% change that roo is a girl. even better this calculation is because:
  • You are carrying the extra weight around the hips and bottom, so it's a girl.
  • The hair on your legs is not growing any faster during your pregnancy, so it's a girl.
  • Boys are carried low. You are going to have a boy.
  • Your feet are not colder than they were before pregnancy. You are having a girl.
  • Dad-to-be is gaining weight right along with Mom-to-be, which means that you'll have a boy.
  • The maternal grandmother has gray hair, so a boy will be born.
  • You had morning sickness early in pregnancy, so you are expecting a girl.
  • Your chest development has been quite dramatic during pregnancy. You should expect a girl.
  • Since the sum of the mother's age at conception and the number of the month of conception is even, it will be a boy.
  • Your urine is a dull yellow color, so you will have a girl.
  • You are craving sweets, which means that it is a girl.
  • Your nose hasn't changed during pregnancy, which indicates a girl.
  • You have been craving fruits, so it is a girl.
  • Your baby's heart rate is 140 or more beats per minute, so it's a girl.
  • Your belly looks like a watermelon, so it's a girl.
  • You use the handle, so it's a boy.
so based on 5 minutes on google, it's kinda looking like roo is a girl. that is, if you trust the internet. which of course i do. isn't everything on the net true?!?!?!!? ;)

What does "You use the handle" mean?

i think the original question was something like, "when you pick up a mug do you pick it up by the cup or the handle?"

pretty weird question - not sure how it predicts the gender of a baby!
