a tinge of jealousy
earlier, quentin pulled his winter coat out and dragged it into the living room where he promptly dropped it on the floor upon finding some better object to play with. jackson the beagle saw the nice, comfy, warm down jacket on the floor and curled up for a nap on it. when Q turned around and saw what had happened, he immediately began trying to push jack off of his jacket, with this look on his face that just screamed, "hey! that's my coat!" if Q knew the word "mine" i am sure he would have employed it.

Eva does this sort of thing ALL the time. At first it was endearing, but soon I started to feel bad for the dogs. Now she will intentionally drop cheerios on the floor, wait for Toby to come over to clean them up and start yelling and crying "NO TOBY, THAT'S MIIIINEEEE!" We have started timing her out for this type of behavior. I think it is just plain mean.
