baby logic

it's so fun to watch the kids learn. caroline is especially fun / funny because she's a smartypants, know-it-all who loves telling us nuggets she's learned. (not in an obnoxious way; it's just adorable the way she makes these observations.) we often call her "princess obvious" for her ground-breaking realizations ("mommy, it's raining.")

but what i especially love are the "facts" she's "discovered" that aren't really quite right. today in the car she randomly informed me, "black cats aren't allowed outside."

the only two black cats she knows (our guinness and auntie becky's baby kitty) are not allowed outside, while becky's other non/black kitty is allowed outside.) so of all the black cats she knows, she is right.
