spicy!

i decided to use our assorted garden peppers to make my own tabasco-esque sauce. i started with jalapeƱos, cayennes, a cowhorn, and a few habaneros.

i removed the stems and chopped them

then added them to a few cups if vinegar and teaspoons of salt.

i brought it to a boil and then simmered it for 10 minutes.

i let it cool off and then liquified it in the blender.

then i funneled it into a recycled glass bottle (appropriate i might add.)

now we wait a few weeks, strain out the seeds, and voila! my own hot sauce. yay for little driveway garden!
